Made from solid staves of beechwood, this trivet is built to protect your counters and table tops from hot cookware. One one side, our trivet features a groove for the heat ring on the Ironwood skillet, making it an ideal platform for serving meals directly from the skillet. On the opposite side the trivet is flat and can be used as a small serving board or cutting board in addition to its original function.
Solid wood cooking tools must be washed by hand and cannot tolerate soaking. Wash by hand with mild soap, dry immediately, and oil occasionally with your preferred food-safe oil. We like to maintain wooden cooking tools with mineral oil.
